I sometimes

Wish for the confidence of a mediocre white man

With a trust fund

And parents with connections

To the industry

But then I fear I would be wracked with self doubt- always wondering:

Am I the imposter?

No. No. Far better to have cut my teeth in the trenches knowing that:

Imposter? Not me.

Never me. Always too raw and real for those trickling self doubts that plague white men
